Founded by the late Mr. B. S. Joshi, fondly known as Bhau Joshi, our museum was born from his lifelong fascination with railroads and engineering.
What began as a hobby grew into a fully functional, intricate display of miniature trains operating on various scales, such as N scale or HO scale.
That means everything you see here is many, many times smaller than the real world- yet no less detailed or dynamic!
We’ve spent years carefully crafting every inch of our setup, from the tiniest signal light to the longest railway track.
The result is a bustling, animated city where trains run seamlessly, lights glow with realism, and each corner tells a story.
While it may appear magical to many visitors, there’s quite a bit of engineering behind what you see.
Our trains run on electrified tracks, either powered by direct current (DC) or a more advanced digital command control (DCC) system. These systems allow us to control the speed, direction, and lighting of each train independently.
Much of the operation is automated through custom-built microcontrollers and computer systems. These systems help our trains follow set routes, obey miniature traffic signals, and avoid collisions- just like in the real world.
We love seeing visitors take control. Our interactive panels allow you to change tracks, switch lights on and off, and activate special animations. It’s a hands-on experience that makes you part of the magic.
